Message From Minister Lance:

This is an exciting time for our church. We are getting back into the routine of seeing people’s smiles and faces at our in-person service each Sunday and the energy of our Fellowship is indeed alive and well. During the Covid Pandemic we, as a church family, have missed so much in the way of personal interaction and yet our experience with Zoom has enabled us to maintain our personal contact with each other.

Tuesday nights we have launched a Pray-In for all who are interested in sharing in the prayer work of our church and community. In the Fall a Thursday evening bible study will return via Zoom. In addition we have been hosting trivia nights on Zoom at least once per month on Fridays. These are wonderful opportunities to gather and share with each other. We welcome more members of our worship community who would like to join in.

A morning bible study is held at the church Tuesday mornings with study, reflection and music.

The Church hosted knitting group meets Wednesdays at the church and welcomes members from throughout the community to stop by and share creative time knitting, learning new projects, and enjoying their time together.

I personally invite each of you to visit our Durham church and to see what we are doing to share our worship of the Lord. Come enjoy our fellowship, our music, and our love for each other. If you have always wanted to attend a church but felt like a stranger in a foreign land when you step into the building, I assure you that such a feeling will not greet you inside our church. And we are pleased to welcome all denominations wishing to share worship with us.  We have people from many varied spiritual backgrounds attending now and if you would like to find a spiritual home for yourself or your family, I encourage you to begin your search in our little historical location in Durham.
